Judy

Dental Hygienist
From South Florida, Judy moved to NC 11 years ago. She graduated from Miami Dade College in 1986 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Judy strives to ensure the patients always feel well informed and comfortable during their visit. She has 2 daughters in Asheville and Raleigh and 7 grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering her time treating the underprivileged at Urban Ministries and TROSA. She also enjoys exploring small towns and historical areas throughout NC, spending outside time with her recently adopted dog, Jack. And loves a good practical joke!!!
Jordan

Administrative Lead/Patient Concierge
Born and raised in central Ohio, Jordan and his husband moved to North Carolina in 2021 seeking out new opportunities and adventures. Jordan comes previously from the field of caregiving for the elderly and individuals with disabilities and brings that same compassion and focus to serving Beyond Dental’s patients. He has a passion for learning and is always seeking out new skillsets to acquire. At home, Jordan loves reading, writing, spending time in nature, and cuddling up with his dogs, Dahlia and Iris.
Erika

Lead Dental Assistant
Born in Raleigh, NC, Erika graduated in 2020 from Triangle School of Dental Assisting where she earned her Dental Assisting diploma. Erika wants to continue her education as a dental hygienist to provide her patients with the best possible care. With Beyond Dental being her first Dental Assisting role, Erika is motivated to learn and gain skills every single day and is thrilled to be a part of a great dental home and work family. Outside of work, Erika loves baking, reading poems, traveling, exercising, and spending time with family. Erika is always looking forward to new places to explore and journeys ahead.
Yanely

Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Durham, Yanely graduated from Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy in 2021 where she received her DAI certificate. Even though this is her first DA position, she is very motivated to learn all tips and tricks and is very attentive to detail. She is always going above and beyond to take care of our patients. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family and friends!
Tian

Dental Assistant
Tian was born in Wuhan, China. He received his bachelors in Biological Sciences in 2013 and his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology in 2019 from Virginia Tech. Tian became interested in dentistry after observing his girlfriend’s dad work at his dental office over the years. With Beyond Dental, Tian seeks to learn and obtain skills to best prepare for dental school and to provide the best possible care for patients, now and in the future! In his spare time, Tian loves to cook, travel, watch sports, and spend time with friends and family. Tian also helps his parents operate an eco-organic Asian vegetable and cucurbits farm.
Lydia

Dental Assistant
Lydia is a dedicated dental assistant with a strong foundation in the field, having graduated from a certified dental assistant program in Texas. Lydia’s passion for dentistry sparked at age 16 through their own journey with orthodontic treatment. With years of experience, they combine technical expertise with genuine care. When not working, Lydia enjoys exploring the outdoors, coloring in their favorite book, and listening to music, which keeps them both active and creative.
Alexis

Patient Concierge
Originally from Henderson, NC, Alexis graduated from University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. She has always wanted to be in a career field where she could help others, whether it’s through education, inspiration, or action, nurturing and guiding people is what she is most passionate about. During her down time, Alexis enjoys traveling with friends and family, reading, writing, watching movies, listening to music, or learning some kind of new skill.
