What Does a New Patient Visit Look Like?
The goal of a new patient visit is for our dentist to gather all the information they need to personalize your care and to guide you to perfect oral health.
This will typically begin with one of our expert dental assistants, who will collect any concerns you have, take your x-rays, and ask you a series of questions to truly understand you and your smile goals. The dental assistant will relay this information to your dentist, who will then perform your comprehensive dental examination, including consultation of your x-rays and taking measurements of your gums. Your dentist will review their dental findings with you and walk you through recommendations tailored specifically to you.
Finally, if you are eligible for a traditional cleaning, our experienced hygienist can often provide you with a same day cleaning to save you another visit!*
*please note that a dental cleaning is not a guaranteed inclusion in your new patient visit.
